The chairs are free to hire but donations are welcome.
Booking is advisable as they are popular. We were able to watch the Chariots of Fire race start and finish, thanks to the Nomad.
The hut is at the West Sands beach in St Andrews. There are 3 Hippocampes, 1 Debug, and 1 Nomad (takes your own manual wheelchair).
At present, there is no hoist. A Changing Places toilet is in the planning stage for the nearby Bruce Embankment car park.

Thank you Jan for submitting your information on the St Andrews beach wheelchairs.
I just wondered if you have any contact details for booking?
It would be great if you could let us know when the Changing Places toilets are open so we can add it to the details.
Many thanks Julia

Lovely beach, not difficult to access.
Can't advertise or promote here but a quick online search of St Andrews beach wheelchairs will let you see all the details. Similarly, there are several accessible places for accommodation in the local area that you can view online.

Thank you sharing your photos - it's great to see the beach wheelchairs in action.
