The London Freedom Pass is available for anyone living in London over 60 years or an eligible disability (as listed in the Transport Act 2000).
It allows free travel across London and free bus journeys nationally.
To apply for a Freedom Pass you need to contact your borough for an application form.
If the borough confirm your eligibility you can take this confirmation to a Post Office with a passport photo, proof of identity and address.
Some borough's offer discretionary Freedom Passes to disabled people who do not meet the statutory eligibility requirements.
Carers are not eligible for the Freedom Pass.
