Hi Kirsty thank you for submitting the Beacon Community Cafe as part of the Beacon School in Folkstone.
It is open 8.30am to 16.00pm during term time.
The café offers a launch pad into the world of workforce the post-16 (sixth form) and local college students on supported internships.
There is also another cafe that's part of the scheme called "Abercrombies".
Here all the staff running the cafe are young people with learning disabilities, aged 19 to 25 years. This is to help them gain vital experience as they seek to find their way into work after leaving full-time education.
It is open open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30am-2.30pm.
It is located at the church hall at Our Lady Help of Christians, 41a Guildhall Street, Folkestone CT20 1EF
